Campaign For A Centre Of Excellence In Environmental Health… The Time Is Now

As you know, in late 2013, The Myalgic Encephalomyelitis Association of Ontario (MEAO) and the Association of Ontario Health Centres (AOHC) submitted a business case proposal to the Ontario Minister of Health and Long Term Care for the Ontario Centre of Excellence in Environmental Health (OCEEH).

Please go to this website for all relevant information regarding the MEAO and AOHC campaign for the Centre of Excellence in Environmental Health.

As per the OCEEH site, the people who came together to produce the business case for an Ontario Centre of Excellence in Environmental Health are patients, physicians, researchers, community health centre leaders, environmental health experts, health policy consultants, health economists and civil servants.

Click on all of the links on the OCEEH - http://recognitioninclusionandequity.org/ - site and you will find relevant and important information about this campaign.

Relevant to this campaign, the Minister of Health created the Task Force on Environmental Health which began in June, 2016. MEAO will keep you advised of the new developments of the Task Force on Environmental Health and the campaign for the Ontario Centre of Excellence in Environmental Health.
